Latest death knell for DC Comics: claims that if the "5G" event fails, AT&T will shut down the publishing of DC Comics

I've been hearing about the end of comic books since about 1979, and it's not that this isn't possible (the decline in sell-through for issues obviously makes it possible, decade after decade of diving numbers can only ultimately end one way or the other: sales finally go up or the publisher quits), but whether this will truly be the end of the line for pamphlet comics at DC (i.e., AT&T/Warners) is the real question.
