House of Mystery Wrightson 231 1975 Werewolf

Bernie Wrightson House of Mystery #231 "Werewolf"

DC Comics May 1975 Cover Date

Wrightson's pen and ink crosshatching and Frazetta-influenced sense of blacking (and figure placement) helped his compositions stand out. Wrightson's old-world feel also added a kind of Yankee gothic atmosphere to the DC Comics which otherwise were leaned towardthe look and pacing of TV and movies.
