Batman loads a hand gun with a silver bullet and then shoots a vampire in the face while it is laying in a coffin: the 2nd amendment Batman of the original 1939 run of Detective Comics was soon eclipsed by the toned-down Batman (with the newly added Robin) which took over by Spring of 1940.
